How do I save it as a PDF?
Press Print and pick 'Save as PDF' in your browser's print destination list. Because the certificate is drawn with vector text and borders rather than as an image, the PDF stays crisp at any zoom and prints sharply on heavy card.
Can I make certificates for a whole class?
Yes, though one at a time: change the recipient name and print again. Everything else stays as you set it, so a run of thirty certificates is just thirty name edits and prints rather than a redesign each time.
Should I print it landscape?
Yes. The layout is designed for landscape A4 or Letter, and the print stylesheet already requests that orientation. Check that your print dialog has not overridden it to portrait, which would crop the border.
