Accessibility statement
Last updated
We want every ToolsRift tool to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every control has a visible label and can be operated with a keyboard; focus is always visible.
- Touch targets are at least 44 × 44 pixels, and pages work at 360 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
- Results are announced to screen readers (live regions), and errors are explained in text next to the input.
- Colour contrast for text and controls is checked automatically for every studio theme, in light and dark mode.
- Animations are short and decorative, and they switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages are tested with automated accessibility checks (axe) as part of every build.
Known limitations
- Some visual tools — drawing a signature, placing text on a PDF page, cropping an image, spinning a wheel — are easier with a pointer. Where possible we offer a keyboard or form alternative (for example typing a signature, or entering crop values as numbers).
- Charts are images to screen readers; the same data is always available as a table.
- Third-party content such as adverts and the consent message is provided by Google and may not fully meet our standard.
Report a barrier
If something does not work for you, email support@toolsrift.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and to fix confirmed problems as quickly as we can.
