What ToolsRift itself stores
ToolsRift does not set its own tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage and IndexedDB for small, functional items that never leave your device:

Cookies set by partners
Google AdSense and the consent message
Google uses cookies (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE and others on google.com and doubleclick.net) to serve, measure and, if you agree, personalise adverts, and to remember your consent choice (for example FCCDCF and FCNEC). Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to count visits and understand which tools are used. They are only set where you have allowed analytics storage. They never contain file names, file contents or text you type.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-less. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm) to protect the site from bots.
Your choices
- Use Privacy & cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject or customise advertising and analytics choices.
- Manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
- Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. The tools keep working; your theme and recent tools will reset.
