These terms apply when you use toolsrift.com ("ToolsRift", "we"), run by the owner of ToolsRift from Hyderabad, India. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The service
ToolsRift offers free tools that run in your web browser. There is no account, sign-up or usage limit. Tools process your files and text on your own device; we never receive them (see the privacy policy). The site is funded by advertising. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
2. Your use
- Use the tools only for lawful purposes and only with files and content you have the right to process.
- Do not use document templates (for example letters, receipts or payslips) to create false or misleading documents. Templates are only for documents you are authorised to issue. Creating false documents is illegal.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, interfere with advertising (including generating invalid ad clicks or impressions), or bypass security measures.
- Do not use the ratings or feedback forms to send spam, abuse or personal data.
3. Results and accuracy
We test our tools and explain how they work, but results can still be wrong or unsuitable for your purpose. Calculators give estimates; converters and generators depend on the inputs you give. Financial, tax, health, legal and exam-related tools are for information only and are not professional advice — see the disclaimer. Always keep a copy of your original files; check important results before relying on them.
4. Intellectual property
The ToolsRift name, logos, design and written content belong to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. You keep all rights to the files and text you process, and to the results you create. Open-source libraries used by the tools are listed with their licences in our third-party notices and remain under their own licences.
5. Embeds
Some calculators offer an embed code. You may embed them on your own site free of charge as long as the "Calculator by ToolsRift" link stays visible and unchanged.
6. No warranty
The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or reliance on any result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Third-party services and links
Adverts, analytics, consent management and some code downloads are provided by third parties (such as Google and Cloudflare) under their own terms. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.
