How to use the negative circled text tool

1. Type or paste into Your text.
2. See the filled circles in Styled text; lowercase letters become capitals.
3. Press Copy and paste the result.

What it does and when to use it

Solid circles catch the eye more than outlines, which makes them good for badges and markers: a 🅢🅞🅛🅓 🅞🅤🅣 tag on a listing, ❶ ❷ ❸ step numbers in a recipe posted as plain text, or a short clan name. The filled part is drawn in the text colour, so on a dark-mode screen the circles turn light with dark letters. Check how they look in both themes.

How it works

The tool swaps characters using three Unicode sources:

Any other character, including spaces, punctuation and accented letters, is copied as it is.

Worked examples

Outputs from the tool’s own function:

• Top 10 → 🅣🅞🅟 ❶⓿. Each digit gets its own circle.
• vip 2026 → 🅥🅘🅟 ❷⓿❷❻. Lowercase input still gives capitals.
• ABC → 🅐🅑🅒.

Limits and tips

• Accessibility. These are symbols, not letters, to assistive technology. A screen reader may say “negative circled Latin capital letter V” for each one or skip them, and search will not find the word. Put the plain text nearby when it matters.
• Older devices may show empty boxes for the letter circles, which were added to Unicode later than the numbered ones.
• The conversion is done in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
