How to use Exam Countdown

Enter one exam per line as 'subject, YYYY-MM-DD'. The countdown sorts them by date and shows days remaining, the weekday of each exam and the split of weekdays and weekend days you have to study.

Frequently asked questions

How is the number of days counted?

It counts whole calendar days from today to the exam date, so an exam tomorrow shows one day left and an exam today shows zero and is flagged as today. Time of day is ignored so daylight saving changes cannot shift the count.

What is the study days breakdown?

As well as total days it shows how many of those are weekdays and how many are weekend days, which makes it much easier to plan realistically when your weekdays are full of classes.

Can I track several exams at once?

Yes. Add as many exams as you like, one per line with its date, and the list is automatically sorted so the most urgent exam is always at the top with past exams greyed out.
