How to use Attendance Percentage Calculator

Enter the classes you have attended, the total held so far and the minimum percentage your course requires. Your current percentage, the classes you must attend next and the number you can still afford to miss all appear instantly.

Frequently asked questions

How is attendance percentage calculated?

It is the classes you attended divided by the total classes held, expressed as a percentage. Classes that were cancelled should not be counted in the total, because they were never held.

How many classes must I attend to recover?

The tool solves for the smallest number of extra consecutive classes that lifts your percentage to the required minimum. If your current shortfall is large this number can be big, and if it exceeds the classes remaining the tool tells you the target is out of reach.

How many classes can I safely miss?

Enter the total classes planned for the term and the tool shows how many of the remaining sessions you can skip while still finishing above your required percentage.
