How to use PDF 4-Up (4 Pages Per Sheet)

Upload a PDF and pick the output sheet size. The tool places four consecutive pages in a 2x2 grid on each portrait sheet, scaling each to fit, and downloads the result.

Frequently asked questions

What is 4-up printing?

4-up puts four document pages on one physical sheet in a two-by-two grid — ideal for overviews, thumbnails and saving paper.

In what order are the pages placed?

Reading order: top-left, top-right, bottom-left, then bottom-right, filling each sheet before starting the next.

What if the page count is not a multiple of four?

The last sheet is filled with as many pages as remain; the empty grid cells are simply left blank.
