Precision is high. Internal arithmetic uses JavaScript's BigNumber library where exact answers are possible, falling back to high-precision floating point only when necessary. Results are formatted with appropriate significant figures, not as raw 17-digit floats.

Does the trigonometry calculator use degrees or radians?+
Both — there is a toggle. The unit-circle visualization always shows both labels (e.g. π/4 / 45°). Inputs and outputs both respect your chosen unit.
How accurate are statistical calculations?+
Mean and median are exact. Variance and standard deviation use the unbiased estimator (n-1 denominator) by default, with a toggle for the population version (n denominator). Internal precision is double-precision floating point, sufficient for thousands of data points.
Can I paste a CSV of numbers into the statistics tool?+
Yes. The statistics calculator accepts CSV, line-separated values, or space-separated values. It auto-detects the delimiter. Up to 100,000 values are supported in browser memory.
Does the matrix calculator find eigenvalues?+
Yes — for matrices up to 6×6. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors are computed numerically using the QR algorithm with shifts. For larger matrices, a desktop tool like NumPy is more appropriate.
