How to use the YouTube title generator
- Type your Video topic, for example “watercolour painting” or “standing desk”.
- Type your Audience, such as “complete beginners”. It appears in some list titles.
- Choose a Style: Any, Tutorial, List, Challenge, Review or Story.
- Set How many ideas you want (5–20).
- Change Variation to reshuffle, then copy the titles you like.
What it does and when to use it
Staring at an empty title box is a common block after editing a video. This tool gives you a quick set of familiar title shapes for your topic, such as a step-by-step tutorial, a 30-day challenge or an honest review. Seeing several at once helps you decide what kind of video you are really promising.
When you have a title, write the description with the YouTube description generator and add tags with the YouTube tags generator. If the same piece will also become a blog post, the blog title generator uses article-style patterns.
How it works
Each style has its own small list of patterns, for example:
| Style | Example pattern |
|---|---|
| Tutorial | {Topic} for Beginners (Step-by-Step) |
| List | {n} {Topic} Mistakes Beginners Make |
| Challenge | I Tried {Topic} for 30 Days |
| Review | Is {Topic} Worth It? Honest Review |
| Story | Why I Started {Topic} (and What Changed) |
Your topic is put in title case, small words such as “for” and “with” stay lower case, and words you typed in capitals (such as SEO) are kept. Numbers in list titles are picked from 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15; “Learn … in N Minutes” uses 5, 10 or 15. Duplicates and titles over 100 characters are removed. “Any” mixes all five styles. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Worked examples
Tutorial titles. Topic “watercolour painting”, style Tutorial. The list includes Watercolour Painting for Beginners (Step-by-Step) and Learn Watercolour Painting in 10 Minutes. Tutorial has only six patterns, so you get seven ideas here, not twelve; the extra one is the minutes pattern again with a different number.
Review titles. Topic “standing desk”, style Review. You get Is Standing Desk Worth It? Honest Review and Standing Desk: What Nobody Tells You. Both work better as “Is a Standing Desk Worth It?”; small edits like that are expected.
Challenge titles, variation 2. Topic “cold showers”, style Challenge, Variation 2. The first idea is Cold Showers Challenge: Day 1 vs. Day 30.
Empty topic. With no topic, the tool asks you to “Fill in the fields above to see suggestions.”
Limits and tips
- A single style has only four to six patterns, so lists are short. Choose Any for more variety.
- Patterns do not check facts. Only use “30 Days” or “One Year” if your video really covers that.
- Check the final length with the character counter if you add words.
