What is HSL?

Hue (0–360° color wheel), Saturation (vividness) and Lightness (brightness). It is a more intuitive model than raw RGB for editing colors.

How do I rotate a hue?

Move the hue slider — adding 120° or 240° gives triadic colors, and 180° gives the complement.

Are the deltas applied cumulatively?

The sliders set an offset from your base color, so resetting them to zero returns the original color exactly.
