How to use Acronym Generator

Enter a phrase, and the tool takes the first letter of each word to build an acronym.

Frequently asked questions

How is the acronym built?

The first letter of each word is taken and uppercased, then joined together with no spaces.

Can I ignore small words?

Yes — enable 'skip small words' to drop common words like a, an, the, of, and, for when building the acronym (the first word is always kept).

Does it work on multiple lines?

Each line is treated as its own phrase, so you get one acronym per line.
