Does the watermark stay for the whole video?

Yes, it is burned into every frame from start to end, so it cannot be trimmed off downstream the way a removable overlay could be.

Can I add a logo image instead of text?

This tool adds a text watermark. For an image logo, use the Video Merger or a general video editor to composite a logo layer, or request an image-watermark tool.
