How to use the video looper
- Drop a video onto the box or click to choose one.
- Under Repeat, choose A number of times or Up to a length.
- Enter Times (2–500, default 3), or Target length in seconds (default 60).
- Pick an Output format: MP4 (default), WebM, MOV or MKV.
- Press Loop video. The summary shows the sum, for example 3 × 0:05.00 = 0:15.00. Play the result, then download it.
What it does and when to use it
A short clip often needs to last longer: a background for a livestream or presentation, a product spinning on a turntable for a shop display, a rain or fire scene for a waiting-room screen, or a ten-minute version of a five-second animation for a video platform that does not loop. The looper makes that long version as one ordinary video file.
Cut the clip to a clean start and end with the video trimmer before looping; a loop is only as smooth as its first and last frames. For a back-and-forth (boomerang) effect, make a reversed copy with the video reverser and join the two in the video merger first, then loop that.
How it works
In “Up to a length” mode the number of repeats is:
repeats = target length ÷ clip length, rounded up
The tool decodes the clip once for every repeat and sends each frame to your browser’s WebCodecs encoder with a timestamp shifted by one clip length per pass. The audio is decoded once and added at the start of each pass, so sound and picture stay in step. Mediabunny writes the frames and audio into the container you chose, in a background worker on your device.

Limits and tips
- Short sources, long results. Ten minutes of 1080p video takes a while to encode and is built in memory before you can save it. On a phone, start with a smaller target.
- The file grows with every repeat, because each copy is stored in full. For a web page, a short clip with the player’s loop setting is far lighter.
- If the result is silent, your browser has no audio encoder for that format and a note says so; try WebM.
- AVI, WMV and FLV need converting first with the video converter.
